Application period for 2018 GSIM admission is from April 17 to May 10, 2018.

The UNIST Graduate School of Technology and Innovation Management (GSIM) will begin recruiting graduate students for its newly-launched interdisciplinary gradaute program, dubbed ‘Business Analytics’ program. The online application process for 2018 admission begins on April 17 and ends on May 10, 2018. Prior to the date of receiving applications, GSIM will also host an information session for prospective students and their families on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. The information sessions are conducted in a question and answer format, in which prospective students may inquire about the new graduate program at UNIST. It is designed to help students navigate the application procedures, become informed on admission policies and gather information about available services, student life and living on campus.

The UNIST Industry-University Convergence Center, located near the Ulsan Industry-University Convergence District in Duwang-dong, Nam-gu.

The UNIST Business Analytics program is a part-time professional training education program, designed to cultivate data analysts and decision-makers. In the courses of Business Analytics, students can learn professional analysis techniques with knowledge and skills necessary in data analysis, statistical learning, machine learning, and database area. The program covers a variety of topics, such as artificial intelligence in manufacturing, FinTech within the banking industry, big data and advanced analytics, and many more. The program is available in the evening or on the weekend to assist students that have work and family obligations. The new campus has recently been transferred to the Ulsan Industry-University Convergence District in Duwang-dong, Nam-gu to improve accessibility and  convenience. For those pursuing a Master of Science (MSc) in Business Analytics will be given a Professional Science Master’s (PSM) degree upon graduation. PSM programs are designed for students who are seeking a graduate degree in science or mathematics and understand the need for developing workplace skills valued by top employers. Established in 2016, GSIM is committed to interdisciplinary education in the English-speaking environment, and to pioneering research across all their disciplines in order to cultivate competent leaders with a global perspective and an innovative capability to excel in the theory and practice of both business and technology management. Besides, the courses offered by GSIM faculty are both on part-time and full-time basis, allowing students to balance personal and professional obligations. These courses take a practical approach using real-world case studies to hone one’s skills in overseeing complex projects.
