Rewarding and substantial, the ECTFE program organizes a broad range of extracurricular opportunities. From field trips, site-visiting, certificate programs, and even exchange curricula, these are all designed to expand learning and networking potential. Students are also encouraged to enter competitions held by the government, institutes, and other universities in their field, with the potential to receive full or partial reimbursement.
UNIST has established a course that specializes in the energy sector every year. Based on a cooperative relationship with global energy prices and trading companies (Argus, JTD Energy, Sierra Vista Resource), managers from each company is invited every year and lecture directly to provide a sense of the international trends and the current situation.
The UNIST ECTFE program introduced a trading practice program; RIT(Rotman Interactive Trader) of Rotman Schoo of Management-University of Toronto for trading student’s sense of trading. UNIST is the only university in Korea that has supported the student, who has been chosen, to participate in the Rotman International Trading Compeititon, which is held annually.
